Hello friends! Welcome to Monday Magic! I'm so excited to start this little series because I love to talk, like, a lot. It's hard for me to keep up with all of my friends who live far away (or in different countries!) and since my sister just got married and moved out (hi Laura!), I came up with a way to keep you all updated!

So, meet Monday Magic! I'm going to *try* to post every Monday this summer and share all the good little nuggets that happened during my week, and so we'll see how this goes. :)

- I uploaded a new YouTube music video and I have a few more lined up to load this summer! I'm so excited to be working harder at uploading new content and my covers, especially for my family & friends. But anyway, I learned "Not All Heroes Wear Capes" by Owl City (it's SO GOOD), and it almost broke 250 views in under 48 hours! Can you say super pumped?

-I'm also 100% sure I've made it as a YouTuber because I got my first dislike haha! Totally kidding. I cracked up super hard when I saw that for some reason!

-If you want to see the video (and the dislike haha), you can view it here!

-Listening to TedTalks has been really motivating for me lately while I'm editing! I've been loving "I'm Not Your Asian Stereotype", "Replying to Spam Email"(and anything by James Veitch), "How I Hacked Online Dating" (this one is absolutely phenomenal, not cliche and weird as it sounds!) "How I Stumbled on a Purpose" (by James from Studio C!) and another Studio C writer Dave Vance did one that was phenomenal as well. I also watched a really great talk by Sadie Robertson aimed toward college students on fear this week!

-More on the listening: I'm thoroughly obsessed with audiobooks via Hoopla (for FREE) and I'm pretty sure I'll be bringing a ton of those on vacation with me! I'm just finishing listening to the Anne series, but I also love and would highly recommend Wives and Daughters on Librivox (also free! The lady who narrates this is great, she does British, Scottish and American accents flawlessly). Next up: going to listen to the How To Train Your Dragon books by Cressida Cowell.

-Watching: these clips (1, 2) from Dr. Who playing with a baby while talking to James Corden about parenting and I can't stop smiling.

-On from the books and videos to music! Has anyone else been listening to the "Dear Evan Hanson" soundtrack? Like Hamilton, not all of it is great, but there are a few gems that I've been loving/learning, like "You Will Be Found" and "Waving Through A Window."

-In case you didn't notice, I listen/watch a lot of things, partially because I'm in the throes of editing and I need something to keep me active, I feel like I'm perpetually cleaning, doing dishes, or something else where I like to multitask by putting something interesting on to listen to.

-In other news, my mom made coffee cheesecake with an Oreo crust for father's day.

-It's almost completely gone.

-I have three seniors booked for this summer already and am in full mode planning with them, and holy cow, I LOVE SENIORS.

-VBS is this week and I'm so excited! I get to take pictures this year, and I cannot wait to go and meet all those sweet kids.

-For everyone asking, still in high school. Workin' hard.

-Memory verse this week: "Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32)

-Also, this truth from She Reads Truth devotional "When Christ went to the cross, He left NOTHING undone."

Happy Monday! Till next week :)
